Santa Fe Springs, California
Cannabis Law Group has been fighting the City of Santa Fe Springs since October 2011 on behalf of a medical marijuana collective located in the city. (See Los Angeles Superior Court Case # VC059885) Our client remains open at this time, over four months after their landlord filed an eviction case against them. (See Los Angeles Superior Court Case # V11C03588). We are currently filing an appeal on behalf our clients. On March 16, 2012, we obtained stopped the eviction in court by obtaining a stay of execution pending appeal using the recent ruling in one of our other cases, City of Lake Forest v. Evergreen Holistic. You can view the stay on appeal order from the court here.
Cannabis Law Group knows what it takes to fight for your rights in court and buy you as much time as possible for your collective to operate at your current location. Although we cannot guarantee you will stay forever, we have kept many of our clients open for years during litigation. These collectives have continued to operate while their cases are being heard in a court of appeals. (See Orange County Superior Court Case # 30-2009-00324525, City of Lake Forest v. Independent Collective of Orange County. Also See The People of the State of California vs. Cahuenga’s The Spot, Case # BC460794)
Our fees are affordable and will not break your bank. If we are able to obtain multiple collectives in your city, we may be able to fight collectively which could result in lower fees for everyone. Call us today at 949-375-4734.
